My 'what if' scenario did not describe a KXL takeover of SGX... My 'what if' scenario described SGX JV'ing SE Jacobus to KXL... say 50% JV... maybe even 100%... in exchange for cash (i.e. $5 million?... $10 million... more?... depending on what SGX has found to date) or shares of KXL... or a combination of both (i.e. $5 million in cash + 5 million shares of KXL, for example)... just for interest in SE Jacobus.

IMO given mag signature of SE Jacobus, the quartz veins they have found, and Au they may or may not have found (but know what, if anything, the have found NOW)... KXL would likely be very interested in SE Jacobus to make the discovery 'complete'. A win-win scenario for both companies IMO...

SGX would get cash and/or shares of KXL, retain 50% or so interest in the property, and get a 1-2% smelter royalty should it ever be sold and/or go into production. This cash could likely be used to finance further Onaman and Cu-Ni exploration and development in 2009-2010 without further dilution (assuming of course SGX SP does get to 80-90 cents range before then which would trigger all outstanding options and warrants to be excersiced netting SGX ~$17 million in cash)... KXL would be able to use their knowledge and resources to fully explore SE Jacobus very quickly and likely add even more value to their 'GM resource'... thus dramatically increasing any possible buyout... could likely call the GM the 'Golden Marathon'... as others have said here.

If KXL is indeed producing a NI 43-101 number for GM and nearby explored areas, as some have said, they are likely doing so with the intent of attracting a bid from a major... or they know majors are watching very closely and want to have the evidence to back up buyout demands.

In my 'what if' scenario... SE Jacobus (small fish) would be swollowed by KXL (bigger fish) and then GM/Portion of Hercules would be swollowed by Major (biggest fish).

Purely a 'what if' scenario for discussion/entertainment purposes only while we wait for news. I do not profess to have all the answers and comments/suggestions/other possible scenarios obviously more than welcome. Just having some fun.
