Quack:

Great post re: banded iron formation.

FYI for the board... See applicable 'Solomon Pillars' (contiguous SGX-KXL claims) sections from latest SGX and KXL NRs. Sage released update then KXL NR followed. Note references in Sage update to facts released in KXL NR. Sage referenced iron formation in their update that was encountered in KXL first drill holes. Interesting no? These two companies are working VERY closely together. As we have said SGX released their update just to have something out there re: BGGC pre-KXL NR.

There is more news to come. Imagine if SGX came out with similar massive NR re: Onaman... then followed up with complete grab and channel sample results in SE Jacobus drilling announcement NR. These NRs ARE coming! Exciting times ahead IMO.

From SAGE update July 31, 2008:

King Solomon Pillars Gold Property, Walters Township

Line-cutting is ongoing in preparation for trenching and channel sampling. Target mineralization consists of gold-bearing quartz-calcite-arsenopyrite-pyrite veins in fine-grained siliceous sediments, with a trend of approximately 70 degrees, that
strike sub-parallel to an iron formation. Historical work approximately 400 m east of the Sage property boundary (i.e. KXL Solomon's Pillar property see below) has defined a 2 m wide system with at least 550 m of strike length. The best assay in the area was taken approximately 100 m from the eastern boundary of Sage’s claims and contained 1.42 oz/T (49.49 g Au/T) (Ontario Assessment Report #42E12NE0073, 1966).”

From KODIAK NR August 1, 2008:

First pass channel sampling results from the Solomon’s Pillar project (see web site for the regional project location map) have identified a strong zone of gold mineralization that extends at least 500 metres along strike that remains open. Channel sampling highlights at Solomon’s Pillar include channel SPX-19 which cuts 5.5 metres grading 12.82 gpt gold (0.374 opt) including 0.9 metres grading 25.1 gpt gold (0.732 opt). A 3,000 metre drilling program has commenced; the first drill holes have intercepted 20 to 30 metre thick zones of intensely mineralized banded iron formation and sheared clastic rock; assays are pending.
