Dear shareholder,

The following was provided by SAGE Gold management:

We appreciate our shareholders investment in SAGE and would first and foremost like to state the basic rudiments of mining exploration since there does seem to be an ongoing misunderstanding and assumption regarding what we PLAN and the subsequent reality of what and how these PLANS unfold. SAGE has always responded to questions with the most current information at the time. All mining companies, especially exploration companies are subjected to continual changes and/or delays for a multitude of reasons which can be environmental, bureaucratic, political and/or financial.

Plan does not mean promise, we have never used that word nor does any company. When we say plan for June drilling at Jacobus, we did but we didn’t plan for such a wet season and having to rebuild a road and then a bridge due to this flooding. This is a delay…period. We act accordingly hence a bridge to install that is subject to permitting. In order to drill you need to strip and trench which is the process of preparing for drilling. The flooding in the entire area delayed the trenching and stripping which requires heavy equipment (backhoes). Drilling is permitted and is initiated in stages, when a phase is completed, you analyze and plan for the next stage of drilling, geophysics, etc. It’s a long term program that can change due to new discoveries and other unforeseen occurrences. We shift accordingly with the optimum efforts of our experienced team with the ultimate goal of achieving our annual objectives. We are progressing nicely and report news accordingly when received. A company cannot give shareholders exact dates on NR’s, it’s against OSC rules. We can only give timelines…period.

We trust this answers your questions.

Regards,
