I wouldn't be too worried Marlin.
1.) every gold company exploration, producers and everthing in between is way down ... Barrick is 40% off it's high and trading at levels when gold was $400 an ounce for example ... the venture exchange is in the 1500s. Even Yamana is off it's high by over 50%
2.) Every big producer needs reserves and now is a good time to buy them cheap. There are lots of companies that have measured and indicated resources and expanding that are more likely takeover targets than companies like Sage ... AND ... they are way off their highs as well ... look at RR
3.) Sage has no RESERVES that I am aware of and so will be sheltered for some time
4.) goldcorp, in particular, wants to protect it's interest in Red Lake area and I'd bet will focus on exploration companies there that are hitting good intercepts.
