Now that you have proven, as management finally admitted, that they cannot realistically promise exact timelines as there are too many variables, ... will you stop asking them for dates and timelines?

But really, it doesn't matter, I was just yanking your chain. ask whatever you want ... but don't ask for dates or timelines ;)
