Everyone gets bit by that situation at least once. Usually you have someone on a board who promotes "taking out a barrier". The trouble is though that those barriers are just smoke and mirrors. As you found, as soon as one level seems emptied then someone comes along and offers more for sale.

All sorts of theories about why these things occur. The only thing that will really move the market is the old "supply/demand" factor. Once demand gets really strong, the tide will then turn because it will sweep through the various levels and people will hold off on their offerings hoping for a higher price.
