longbomb:

I tried to extrapolate stripping length in late Oct. I estimated 1000m based on previously announced lengths and dates... turned out 300m had been stripped. I was dead wrong LOL. I assume from this stripping done in phases and also affected by many variables (i.e. overburden depth, weather, etc.).

2 months of stripping have passed since this 300m figure was release... and 3 new veins have been announced (5, 6, and 7). We were told Vein 5 was stripped to 100m as of Nov. 19th. No length was given for Vein 6 when asked about on Dec. 10th but assume another 100m there. Vein 7 is on SGX-KXL border and I believe we were told in Nigels Nov. 10 address that equipment was on its way there so hopefully another 50-100m there. Therefore, given these estimates and adding a little for additional stripping completed since these dates I would estimate about 800m-900m. Hopefully they have completed more and next release would say "GE vein structures stripped and trenched for distance of more than 1km"... sounds better. LOL.

re: channel sampling lengths... I think you are right.. I doubt they have been cut every 1m as with vein 1. No need really once you have done so much of that to prove to yourself what you are finding is not an anomaly. For example, in the last NR we were told Vein 2 was stripped for 78m and 20 samples had been cut. Should be lots of results to come though. SGX has only reported channel samples from Vein 1 over ~60m and 5 grab samples from Vein 4. Therefore, channels from 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 pending and whatever grab samples they have submitted along they way. If they have cut just 20 channels in each of these veins that would be ~120 channel samples pending. IMO that's a minimum, likely many more. I would estimate somewhere between 150-200. We have also already been told about "visible gold", mineralized wall rock, 5m and 6m sheared zones, "veins and veinlets", etc. So lots to look forward to IMO. Vein 2 look very exciting. Also interested to see at least description of "border vein". 'Timing' this release with pending KXL deep holes and NW drill results (lots pending) would not be a bad thing IMO.

P.S. applicable 'vein' excerpts from previous SGX posts and others posted below for reference.

------------------------------------...

Oct. 30th SGX:

"To date, the Golden Extension vein structure to the south boundary zone is 1.6KM long. There are also 4 new vein structures to the north being 100M, 60M, and 2 at 70M for a total of 300 metres there. One of the 70M veins, we have ceased stripping and trenching due to an issue with overburden but the others are still on strike."

Nov. 18th SGX:

Vein 4 assays were grab samples and the only grabs we submitted so the lab did them along with other customers grabs. The balance of our samples were channels and we are awaiting more. We are also channel sampling Vein 5 which we’ve just uncovered and it intersects with Vein 1.

Nov. 19th SGX:

"Vein 5 is an extension of Vein 1 trending SE and is now over 100 metres. It is 1Km from the SGX/KXL border. We will update our Vein map on the homepage soon outlining the vein structures."

Dec. 10th SGX:

"Vein 6 is 70 meters NW of Vein 4 and we are still stripping and trenching and channel sampling as we go which is standard procedure. The length hasn’t been determined since we are still there. We will update the website with this information when program completed Dec 19."

Dec. 18th SGX:

"In essence, yes there are 7 veins since the “border vein” as we call it is likely an extension of 1 and now 5 (Golden Extension) but we still have to strip and trench in that direction to confirm it is the same vein structure. As mentioned, when we complete the stripping and trenching this Friday then we will map and plot the structures and post information accordingly."

------------------------------------...

Vein #1 – the Golden Extension Vein – sampled over 60 metres of strike length and is open both northwest and southeast. There have been 59 channels cut into the vein at a sampling density of one every metre. Visible gold is present within the vein and in the weathered zone immediately above the vein.

Vein #2 – Located 8 metres south of the north-western end of the stripped area of Vein #1. Vein #2 strikes east-west and has been stripped for 78 metres. The vein and veinlets occur within a highly sheared zone of up to 6 metres wide with siliceous wall rock and 5-10% disseminated pyrite. Visible gold is present in both the vein material and the weathered zone immediately above the vein. Twenty channel samples have been cut within the veins and the mineralized wall rock. The vein is open to the west and east.

Vein #3 – Located 25 metres north of Vein #1. Vein #3 has been trenched for 90 metres and strikes 100 degrees. Vein #3 consists of up to 5 metres width of sheared and mineralized wall rock, veins and veinlets. Pyrite occurs as subhedral clots within the veins and as disseminated masses within altered and silicified wall rock. Molybdenite and chalcopyrite are also present in the vein and wall rock. Visible gold has been located in the weathered zone immediately over the sheared zone.

Vein #4 – Located 57 metres northwest of Vein #1, Vein #4 comprises two parallel vein systems which have been stripped over a strike length of 62 metres and trend northwest-southeast. Visible gold has been identified in one of the veins.

"Vein 5 is an extension of Vein 1 trending SE and is now over 100 metres. It is 1Km from the SGX/KXL border. We will update our Vein map on the homepage soon outlining the vein structures."

"Vein 6 is 70 meters NW of Vein 4 and we are still stripping and trenching and channel sampling as we go which is standard procedure. The length hasn’t been determined since we are still there. We will update the website with this information when program completed Dec 19."

Vein 7 - SGX-KXL 'border vein'.
