You can earn activity points by filling your profile with information about yourself (what city you live in, your favorite team, blogs etc.)
Assuming all this is true ... It has yet to be confirmed by a geologist ... it would also make sense that if we are closer to the source that, at depth, widths would be much wider and higher grade.
Unfortunately, we won't know the answer to that one for a while
