OT: Gold got whacked this AM and then trended lower on very thin volume. Likely thanks to jobs report and market manipulation that goes along with it (i.e. prop up $US this AM in the midst of dismall jobs report to get "Dollar stays firm after U.S. jobs report" headline they wanted). Well they got it so I expect gold to recover as they day goes on. FYI... they magically added 150k jobless claims to Novembers number... and will likely do the same next month for December making total claims 675k not 524k released today. How can anyone trust these numbers? Consolidation and strength we have seen in gold sends promising signals for eventual breakout to upside near-term IMO.
