Highly highly unlikely IMO. As at March 31, 2009 Kinross had $586.4 MILLION in CASH and another $811.5 MILLION in other current assets. I severely doubt they would bother to 'dump' a 6% stake in SGX for an insignificant (for them) $3 million or so at 6 cents. Even IF SGX went to 10 or 20 cents Kinross shares would still only be worth $5-10 million. Kinross has also clearly demonstrated desire to invest in promising junior exploration companies. No idea why you would think they would dump... please explain?
