It's no secret that industry consolidation is inevitable in this economy. It would not surprise me that several (if not all) are planning on putting their cash to use by finding good deals out there. If someone wanted to get in on the BGGC area, Sage is pretty cheap, even with the large float, AND, they have the second largest property holding in the area.
So, as have been saying before, it would not surprise me if K was already accumulating SGX. They don't get the "6%" until CWP votes on July 18 and so they can buy up to 17 million shares (approx) of SGX completely under the radar before anything needs to be disclosed.
Could this why IR suddenly is not as forthcoming with info?
Could this be why higher than average volume has been trading for the past month in a 1.5 to 2 cent channel?
Could this be why they were late in there "pre" announcement of drilling?
hmmmmm
