Gold now trading above $1,000 for past 5-6 hours now... and on relatively little volume thus far... when volume picks up within the next hour or so hopefully gold strength will continue... all indications are it will as the $US looks like it is on life support this AM... even though SGX is not a gold producer strength in gold will eventually spill over into exploration space... even more so now IMO that SGX has a major producer (i.e. Kinross) as a major shareholder.
