Focused on becoming a near-term Gold Producer

I think part of the problem, or rather the reason ONT and RMK have been successful so quickly is that they have relatively small land packages in the BGGC. With small areas to explore they have been able to concentrate on what they have and for that reason have had no choice but to drill deep and have been able to find some decent intercepts.
on the other hand KXL and Sage have very large land packages, have spread themselves more thinly, and are forced to do initial recon on all of them to decide whether they are worthwhile keeping. This is a more cash and time intensive way to explore.
Two different strategies ... is one better than the other? it's hard to say. One might say that Sage and Kxl will burn themselves out and dilute themselves into oblivion (obviously Sage is well ahead of KXL on this front). However if they do make one big hit and find a decent deposit, it can be sold off for cash to a company who wants to bring it to production. That would pay a nice cash dividend to existing shareholders if it could be done.
The BGGC area contains gold, we know that. so far all of the companies have only scratched the surface of what is really there ... The Timmins area (abitibi gold belt) was the first big greenstone belt to produce gold some 80 years ago and gold is STILL being discovered there ...
Which of the above strategies will bring the biggest payout remains to be seen. In any case it seems clear, so far, which one is getting the faster payoff.
