I have accounts with both Trade Freedom and Scotia Direct Investing. They are one in the same ownership now (Scotia), but their rates are significantly different. Secondly Trade Freedom does not normally provide quotes on TSX.V or OTBB investments. You need to purchase a further monthly service to get this.
One little secret with Trade Freedom:
If you want to know the price quote of a TSX.V equity just put in a trade and click process. At this point in time the Real price of the stock comes up (and its accurate). Its the only time, without additional services, that you will see TSX.V prices in Trade Freedom.
Hope this is of assistance. BTW The trading fees are 9.95 with no minimum trades per month. The charges can increase (not in any huge amount as it is with Scotia) for large volume trades.
One other thing: You may transfer into the Trade Freedom account from another existing account providing you are willing to see your assests freeze in time for about 10 days (max). While in administration you can't trade from what I was told.
Well nuf said,
