Please allow me to float an idea bye the Board.
A strategic alliance and or a merger between St. Elias Mines and Dynacor Gold. Today they are market capped at 177 and 44 million dollars respectively.
I think they are a great fit with each other and combining them would have synergistic results for the shareholders of both. Some of the attributes of this suggestion would be:
- Both are Canadian Companies listed on the TSX with DNG on the big board.
- An emphasis on Peruvian gold. Between them, four Peru properties as well as a combined super Acari / Tesoro claim.
- DNG has the mill and perhaps very importantly a water licence (if such a thing exists in Peru) in an area with little water.
- SLI's Canadian and other Peruvian properties basically on autopilot.
- Even if Tesoro turns out as just a moderate producer, many years worth of supply to the Acari Mill.
- Critical mass. Together and taking into account DNG institutional shareholders, the resultant entity may be hugely attractive in gaining further investment or take-over attention.
I would like to think that Lori, Rene and Jean have been on the phone with each other.
