Hi Goldenboy
You know, you're right, there isn't much more to talk about. Which is why the latest posts have centered around felines and gold-sniffing snakes. I agree with you that really all that is left to do is wait. The story has not changed at all. I think everyone has an opinion on whether on how long the permits should take and whether or not they are taking longer than they "should". Bottom line, IMO, is that 99% of us don't have a CLUE how long anything should take. My take on it is that the resubmittal in August probably put the SLI application back to the bottom of the pile, Again, JUST my opinion. Which is why I don't think the approval will come until the new year, following the timeframe you have laid out. Remember that after the initial application the Peruvian mining rules changed. Can you imagine the chaos that probably created within the government-run mining ministry? I've been through many re-orgs in my professional life and they always slow down or stop any work that's in progress. Things can grind to halt while everyone stares at everyone else and guesses who now becomes responsible for what. Now extend that picture to a re-org of a third-world Latin American gov't organization, and picture in your mind the drop in productivity 'til things get sorted out!
If SLI has been incompetent in the application process, I wouldn't have a clue where in the process that would have happened. They've followed all the rules and steps. What else can you do?
I'm not sure what's driving your impatience. This is a speculative stock, with the potential to be the biggest gold discovery EVER. I can wait a couple of more years if I have to. Naturally I don't WANT to, but why would I bail out of an opportunity to become very wealthy? As Kherson frequently says, try to enjoy the process, it is a journey. Hopefully we'll all look back on it and say "Man, am I ever glad I stayed the course!".
At the same time, the frustrations you're expressing are felt by us ALL to some extent. So I think it's good that you let 'er rip every now and then to keep us all honest! Hang in there man, remember to watch the developments, and not the share price!
