Thanks again to all of those posting up here, your info and knowledge is appreciated. I too am waiting till the end of the day to do a tfsa transfer.

As a big time newbi to the whole stock game can someone explain to me what "shorting" a stock is??? I think I have a very basic idea, but would like to know how these things actually work.
