Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
Yeah, a lot of people are frustrated and getting impatient. But, remember, if there was anything wrong , or anything of significance, preventing us from getting the permits, that would have to be disclosed to the public under the timely disclosure policy. If anything is wrong, the company cannot with hold this information from its shareholders. So, that leads me to beleive everything is ok, its just a waiting thing.
By looking at the applications that were approved, there hasnt been any this week yet. Last week there were 3 approved and I beleive there was 1 the week before that. That totals 4 approved so far this year. If I am not mistaken, I beleive there were around 16 applications in there to be considered by March or so. Ours has been there a long time as was one that I recently reported on for the Chinese company. I beleive that particular one took 8 months and was finally approved in Dec.
Yeah, we all get impatient, but at this point, can we really blame anyone in particular? I dont think so, we dont have the facts. For those that get real impatient and sell their stock, might, miss out on a terrific rise in the sp, should the permit release quickly materialise. I have heard it rumoured that the stock may be halted on this news, if it is, I know I dont want to be out at that crucial point in time. As you said, you got restless with that other stock that time, and sold prematurely and missed out, I have also done that in the past, but have learned from my mistakes.
My better judgement, and hours of research, is telling me , dont be stupid and stay the course. My position is my position, I realise that other people had expectations on our sp being much higher by now,and may have made investment decisions based on that. but I was/am prepared for it to remain the same.
Bottom line, every investor in SLI has to do whats best for them, if they are uncomfortable, sell. If they are confident, buy when the others are panicing, thats how you make your most money. When the market crashed the other year, I was buying on the way down, I lost money trying to find the bottom, but I made a lot, more than if I wouldnt have been in, when it came back. I am satisfied I did the right thing, buy ,when others panic.
