The reason why I ask who the 10 largest shareholders are the fact that if they are individuals with tight association to the company then I feel way more secure with my investment. When I met with Murray awhile ago he alluded to the fact that alot of the shares were held by insiders and very close associates of his. Why this is important to me is because in the past, other companies I have invested in had large positions held by institutions and because of that they controlled in essence what happenned to this companies stock price and games with shorting and other crazy things happenned alot. This has not been the case thus far with SLI and the reason I think this has not happenned is because the big guys don't have many shares in this company ---- YET!!! I know institutions can move a companies share price dramatically when they decide to buy in, but on the other hand when they get large positions they can drive the price down because of the shear volume they own and start to play the shorting game and make money at both ends. On one side when the stock price goes up and on the other end when they dump shares and start panic and make more money on the short side. I would be very relieved to still see most of the shares in the hands of so called RETAIL investors and not in the hands of the BIG PIGS! The investment world is a ruthless place and Murry and I have talked about that fact and especially how this company had the majority of shares owned by hard working, good people according to his personal knowledge and I would classify myself and my many friends who are also invested in SLI as just that. I would love to see the big boys really scramble when news comes out about what SLI really has and its on BNN, CNBC, CBC and CTV similar to when BRE X had its false hayday, but this time we see it with a company that has the goods.
