I wouldn't worry too much about it the apparent "taking so long with the permit" ...not to ignore it either ......but rather to say that I wouldn't lose sleep over it. We mustn't forget that SLI had to resubmit the application in August, 2010 on account of SLI getting caught in the transition of Perus' mining industry in order to become more modern and to be "on par" with Canada's 43-101 rules and regulations. Did somebody drop the ball? I suppose that if somebody did that the problem was corrected a long time ago. Furthermore they were promised a date which hasn't arrived yet .....and besides they haven't even reached the TYPICAL 180 day waiting period yet based on the resubmit being in August, 2010. And who knows? ....maybe it is "taking longer" (which again only seems to be taking longer, relatively speaking!!) because the government is having a difficult time since there are so damn many quantech anomalies and so many veins to take into account. Or it could be that they simply can't find a calculator with enough digits on it to get a full handle on the Tesoro property and so the officials needed to hire a special mathematics professor from a university in Lima to substantiate their numbers since they have such a tough time believing them. Keep in mind too that we went through a lot of holidays as well. Who knows? Either way one can only speculate. But regardless ......I truly sense that all is still well with SLI and that all is going to end well with SLI, FWIW.
