From a previous post, this should have said Zona Central Anomally calculation:

The Zona Canchete anomaly area is 1800 m X 1700 m X 1300 m giving it a volume of 3978000000 cubic meters. Considering the bowl shape of the of this anomaly roughly half of this volume is of the actual anomaly giving 1989000000 cubic meters. Using a specific volume of 2.5 meters cubed per ton of rock this gives 795600000 tons. At 1 g/t and 28.3 grams per ounce that works out to be 28.1 mil ounces of gold.

However, This is a very huge error!

When you take the roughly half number, which I agree with, of 1989000000 (but lets say 1989 Million M3) you must multiply by 2.5T/M3 & NOT divide it by 2.5

So, lets re do the Math that was posted, and see the new numbers.

This is already scaled by the half, and I use a more conservative 31.1 g/OZ not 28.3:

1989 Million M3 X 2.5T/M3 X 1g/T X 1OZ/31.1g

This gives you 159.88 Million OZ NOT 28.1 Million OZ
