I'm not sure any opinions on the budget matter now. If the PM takes a walk over to the Gov'ner General's on Saturday, the House is Prorouged and any Bills before the House die on the order paper.

The budget needs to be passed and the three opposition parties have said they can not support it, thus putting the government into a position of non confidence and forcing an eletion.

"With the government unwilling to amend its budget, all three opposition leaders said they are prepared to defeat Prime Minister Stephen Harper's minority government on a motion of non-confidence Friday.

The Liberal motion that is scheduled for a vote Friday calls on MPs to agree with the findings of a committee report released Monday that found the Conservatives in contempt of Parliament for not supplying sufficient information on cost estimates for crime bills, the F-35 fighter jet procurement and corporate tax cuts and that as a result of that finding, the Commons has lost confidence in the government."
