I found some interesting info last nite on some of the veins at Dynacor. The source of the info is a research report done on Dynacor in 2004 by eResearch. (google it )

The Principal Vein "The Principal Vein is exposed in outcrop's and surface workings over a HORIZONTAL distance of 1200 meters. There are indications that the structure that hosts the Vein, a shear zone 2 to 3 meters wide, could extend over 3 km in length as it reappears in an outcrop 2,000 meters above sea level. It is common for quartz veins in this geological setting to strike long distances sometimes uo to several km.

Three high grade shoots have been identified along the Principal Vein within a horizontal distance of 700 meters. Development to date along the first high grade shoot includes adits at 4 levels and small raises over a vertical distance of 95 meters. The longest adit at level two has been driven 175 meters. Average gold grades within this first ore shoot range from 10.7 to 96 grams of gold per ton (.3 to 3.0 OUNCES OF GOLD PER TON) over widths that are generally in the 0.3 to 0.4 meter range. So far, approximately 1,500 tonnes of material with an average grade of 1.5 oz. per ton was mined from level three.

Initial sampling on level 3 indicated average gold grade of 2.8 oz. per ton along a 55 meter strike length. Limited mining carried out in this area resulted in 1,360 tonnes grading an average of 51.4 grams of gold per tonne. Sampling carried out on Level 3 after the mining indicated that the gold grade was .41 oz. per tonne. The high grade zone is also exposed in the adit at Level 2 and extends over a strike length of 100 meters. A new zone has recently been discovered on a sub-level from level 2 with grades in excess of 4 oz of gold per ton.

Using the rule of thumb that 30% of the vertical and horizontal extensions contain ore shoots, the inferred mineral resources for the 1,200 meters of the Principal vein has been estimated at 423,360 tonnes at 15.4 grams of gold per tonne. (209,638 oz. of gold)
