Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
Just thought I would give us something to talk about besides Green Party and Gold. Not that they are even remotely associated, but then neither are gold and NDP or pretty much any other political party. Unless you become a politician. Just ask Brian Mul???????.
Anyway, here is the jist of my topic. Coal + Moly + Oxygen = Future Polution Free Energy.
May sound impossible but---Here is how. We all know that the way we use our coal, burn it raw to produce power, but create sulphur dioxide, carbon dioxide and many other emmisions too numerous to mention, is not the best way to produce the energy we need to survive as humans on our very fragile planet. Coal has been around for ever and to be quite honest, probably out supplys Oil and gas by 100 times. Why we do not use it, is because it so hard to get it to the power plant burners, to burn it to create heat, to in turn create steam, to then turn a turbine to create electricity for us to use. It is done all over the world this way, and coal is available in every continent in the world in exorbinant supply. Why do we not use it more? POLLUTION !!
Enter some people who think outside the box. Like the way Our managenent at SLI think. Mesothermal being a good example of thinking outside of the Box.
If you cant get the mountain to Mohamed, bring Mohamed to the mountain. Im sorry, Ill try to get a little more to the point. If it is too expensive and polluting to mine the coal from way down in the earth, then burn it where it is at, and collect its heat value where it was born . How do you do that?? You drill a hole 100 to 400 feet deep in the ground, into about the middle of the coal seam, you inject air into it, add a little Moly as catalyst to obtain a total burn of the coal, then you allow the smoke to rise up the pipe, and you refine the smoke for its byproducts, to name a few-- hydrogen, propanes. butanes, methanes etc. Now what you have accomplished is collected the energy from the coal without moving one spec of overburden, created no pollution by burning it, and left a great big hole in the ground where the coal used to be. What do you do with the hole?? You fill it up with Co2 produced by the oil and gas companies, and make money getting rid of a polluting Geenhouse Gas.
It is estimated that there are 13 trillion tonnes of coal in one seam of coal west of Edmonton (Appx 120 miles). That seam of coal would supply enuff coal to fire a steam turbine plant to build power for the next 150 years at todays consumption for all of Alberta. Not bad eh? Can you imagine how much Moly they will need to catalyse coal seam burning plants all over the world??? Do you think that Gold is SLIs only big asset? Not me. Dont like to quote an ass like Charlie Sheen but "SLI Carmi WIN" Best of luck with a NR soon. Rinky
