Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
Hi everybody, well, now it's my turn to be candid!
I must say I'm quite surprised at all the unrest as of late. Not long ago all anybody could talk about was when/if the EIS was going to be approved....and how much the sp was going to pop when the NR was released. Well, the sp had a pop and then quickly came back down to reality. Now all the babble has turned to wondering when the drilling starts, why haven't we seen more NRs, etc. etc. And after the drilling starts, you can bet the whining will start about "when are we gonna see some assay results?". Have you forgotten that we HAVE A DRILL PERMIT (same thing as the EIS!!!). We should be still be dancing in the streets about getting the approval.
Honestly folks, ask yourself why you're invested in this company. Look at the DEVELOPMENTS, not the sp!!! We know it's being shorted by some pretty crafty people. And IMO the sp is about where is should be, no more, no less! We have perhaps the biggest discovery ever, but there are no assay results yet. Surely you don't think we're going to rise up to $5 based on speculation!
Some of you are thinking the sp "should" pop up on the next NRs about drilling, Quantec, etc. Well, brace yourself, if we didn't get the rise we wanted from the EIS NR, are you prepared to experience the same disappointment if the sp is indifferent to the NRs that are coming up? Drill results will make or break SLI. The market has already shown us that it doesn't care about EIS NRs, and I predict it probably won't care about drilling NRs either.
Folks, everything is going EXACTLY to plan. Sure the EIS took way too long, and SLI did a lousy job of supervising the process. But it's over! We're on to the next hurdle. When we say you need patience, we're not providing lip service, we actually MEAN you NEED TO HAVE PATIENCE!!!!! SLI is not going to issue NRs every time there's a little tidbit of news. Do I think they do a good job of communicating with their shareholders? No, I don't, and it annoys me too....but that's part of the package, man, suck it up!!
Here's a little reminder on my estimated timeline:
drill permit received: beginning of May, 2011 - complete
drills mobilized: by end of May, 2011
drilling: June-July, 2011
results sent to lab and analyzed: July-Aug, 2011
assay results released: Sept, 2011
bids for Tesoro from interested parties: Oct-Nov, 2011
evaulation of bids and negotiations with interested party: Dec, 2011 - Jan, 2012
sale of Tesoro: Feb, 2012
Have a look at the above dates and PREPARE yourself for MANY MORE MONTHS of WAITING! GET USED TO IT!! (You should be used to it already) I'll say it again, everything is going exactly to plan. There....my rant for the day!
