Rinky, yesterday you put up an excellent post, with a very good example of g/T, and how to relate to it (as you said 1 penny = approx 2.5 grams) From your post yesterday:

Use your imagination for a second---hold 1 penny in your hand and you have the gold mined from 1 tonne of their ore. Hold 12 pennies in your hand, and you have the gold mined from one tonne of our 29 gram per tonne ore. Or better yet, hold 228 pennies in your hand and you have the gold mined from 1 tonne of our 570 gram per tonne ore.

Since there is 2.7T/M3 then 1T would be 0.37M3

So, like Rinky says, imagine putting 1 crushed up penny inside a volume of 1M X 1M X 0.37M (which would be 1T) and that would give you 2.5g/T

We always use 1g/T in all our speculation and Math examples, so I guess we would have to cut that penny in less than half!

Good Job Rinky!
