Hog, that's an excellent post. You better come up with some kind of big scaling factor though. Can you imagine if your 1.5 g/T number is even close?
Your example of 1750M X 400M = 700,000 M2
5000 acres = 20 Million M2 (that's over 28 times more surface area)
But, realistically, even if you just took the known gold belt from North to South. You accounted for 1750 M of it. So there would still be 4500M X 400M = 1.8 Million M2 unaccounted for. That's still over 2.5 times more than your numbers. That would put your numbers @ approx 32 Million OZ.
Even if you take half, either by scaling it, or saying 3/4 of a gram per T instead of 1.5g/T, you'd get approx 16 Million OZ, just along the gold belt! That's more than the Aurelian Story!
