Welcome MightyOil, excellent post! The only thing I wonder about, is your Point 2. Not that I don't agree with it, but if a person does not understand their investment, and they are an amateur, and they have not been introduced to this site, then that's when we're in trouble. They will sell after a double or a triple. The key is, how do you make sure these people at least look at sites like Agoracom & do a little homework, and really try to understand what they've bought into?
Answer is not so easy, other than telling the story over & over & over, and directing people to things like this. You call yourself an amateur in your Point 2, but because you post like you do, and you're actually doing your DD, I'd call you a 3rd year apprentice (minimum). All we can do is keep telling everyone that we've all gotten into this, what really the potential might be. Obviously someone directed you to Agoracom, and good on them, and good on you for listening!
Lets face it, when you try to tell someone a $2.00 stock should go to $100 plus. well...
At our meeting Wed night in Cold Lake, I will for sure stress this point to the 71 (and still counting) people in attendance. Hopefully, I send the correct message, and when they all leave, they continue with everyone they've told the story to. That's about all we can all do! But that's lots!
