Hi all,
I am a recent poster, and have spent more time on the sidelines than some of the new investors, but I feel I finally have 2 cents to add. I only bought in about a year ago, and now each time the price drops, I buy a couple of thousand more.
First and foremost, there are no sure things. Anyone who believes that this stock, or any stock is a sure thing is mistaken.
However, one source that sticks in my head is the The Primed Report article of February 25, 2011 which indicates their calculations of a value of SLI WITHOUT the Tesoro project of $2.78.
That is WITHOUT the Tesoro. And what value does the Tesoro hold? And I keep looking at the drill results, the known findings, and I wonder about those anomalies. No one knows what they are at the moment, but isn't it nice to believe that they are gold??
To my way of thinking, this stock is severely undervalued at present. I am not surprised that the stock price is falling after the news of this weekend's events in Peru - that is expected after such shocking news that the stock market is not infallible.
But I have done a gut check, and I bought more shares today at $2.05 (thank you to those among the forum who may have sold!) because I believe that this stock is:
-99% likelihood to be trading at or above $5 by the end of the year
-70% likelihood to be trading at or above $10 by the end of the year
-50% likelihood to be trading at or above $20 by the end of the year
-1% likelihood to be trading at or below $2 at the end of the year.
Now, I don't have a crystal ball, and I don't assume to be an expert at the market, but if I sit back, as a reasonable person, and consider those odds, I would be foolish not to buy more at these current prices.
Just my opinion.
I appreciate all comments and opinions on this forum - make for interesting times!!
