I have been reading on here people are saying that we are not going to get an update for a while still. I disagree we may get a surprise sooner than later. The reason I say this is because they have taken over 215 samples out of trenches since may 17th to may 31st. This is not my speculation it is a fact.
"As at May 31, 2011, 15 trenches totalling 1,200 linear metres have been completed with 215 samplescollected over 5m sample intervals from the trenches at the Tesoro Project. The trenches were completedby a backhoe and a track-mounted excavator at Zona Central (Main Structural Corridor) and Zona Este (Parallel Structural Corridor).
There was an update less than a month from the time when they announced trenching on May 17. The upadte was June 9th. http://www.steliasmines.com/storage/news_releases/Sli-News-2011-07_Tesoro_drilling_final.pdf
From a previous PR we know that SLI uses Lima laboratories of ALS-Chemex using atomic absorption with a fire-assay finish with check samples being completed by CIMM laboratories also located in Lima. http://www.steliasmines.com/storage/news_releases/Sli-News-2005-01.pdf
These Labs are not far and do fast turn overs. I think about 2 weeks.. So IMHO don't be surprised if we have an update early this week or soon after.
They have been going crazy working on the property since they got the EIS. They have brought in a dozer and a trencher, and I don't mean hand trencher. These are massive machines.
I am loooking for the trencher we have I would appreciate anyones help.
