As per several post regarding explorer stock prices viv-a-vis life cycle of an explorer... the posts I see are correct in that Share Price -SP- goes in an extremely predictable cycle. From hopes to a hit on gold ...to a hit on drills that look terrific....to the realization that it will take millions if not billions to actually get to production....almost all explorers go through a similar repeatable cycle. We are at the cusp of the big jump, provided of course we hit the big motha, that will propel the share price to new all time highs. The decision to be made by all us SLI lovers is when do we cash out? Do we wait for the first offer, at say $8.00 US, or do we hold out for a bidding type war between big producers who have have deep pockets who need to keep their gold stream going? Tough question considering how much gold per ton we could/should have. I follow the train of thought that (a la Casey) it is prudent to sell one half at a double or so and let your remainder ride at no risk, since you got your original investment back when you sold half at the double. I know that might fly in the face of some of the true believers who think that we should all hold out for the big MAX at let's say $20- 50 per share (or more!). All investers have to look at their risk profile and the obligations one must meet to be prudent and caretakers of our soon to be fortunes. I am really looking forward to the scintillating/fabulous/pertinent/ on-target discussions we will be sharing on this board when the first offer(s) come in.
