I think news will be released in a manner that fulfills regulatory requirements and best serves the company. During every lull we've experienced, once news broke, it was substantive and showed that the wheels were turning the whole time while we were waiting. Think back to last summer and the drought. Then in October we learn without any forewarning that claims around Tesoro have been staked. That alone should tell everyone that our management believes strongly in the potential Tesoro holds.
Playing games like timing news releases to happenings in the market is silly and in the realm of companies that are putting lipstick on a pig.
I believe that elements of a number of very good news releases are being compiled. The fact that SLI is not buying time on BNN like so many other juniors but instead having Murry and Alice making themselves available to almost any gathering of shareholders is truly refreshing. It says to me that the company cares personally about its shareholders enough to make very strong effort to keep the faithful motivated during the wait times.
Tesoro will be a gold mine. We are just determining how large. With the kind of money at stake especially at todays gold prices, it's best that when news comes out it be very substantive (for example a large numbers of assays vs. limited numbers) and if very promising then even independently verified. This kind of stuff takes time but in the end will be well worth it.
A large trenching or drilling news release providing many sampling results will be viewed as far more credible than a NR of a small, select result. Give them the time to do their work.
Besides, we're still all enjoying our summer.
