NowWhat, that's a good find, definitely shows us all that risk is always out there. I'd say right now with the relationship SLI appears to have with the locals that it is a low risk for the Tesoro, but you never know.
We're lucky the Tesoro is a desert plain, away from civilization. In fact, this may make the property more attractive to prospective buyers, i.e. it may be an advantage to them to pay more for the infrastructure that will be needed to turn this remote area into a mine, with the cost offset by lower environmental and protest risk.
