Personally I will like to see long intercepts of gold, the grade doesn,t have to be that high.

For instance, its usually better to have 100m grading 1 g/t gold, than it is to have 1m grading 10 g/t. The former usually means a lot more gold because its over a longer area. The latter, if its the only intercept in a hole, is not as good because it means you have a narrow zone with no other mineralization. The former is also better, whereas you can open pit mine it cheaper than you can shaft mine 1 vein of low grade.

Rule of thumb;

1 g/t for open pit

7 g/t for shaft mining

take note; the above numbers are considerably lower at todays POG, but its adding safety by using them.
