Hi All,
New poster here! I’ve been reading this forum for a while now but haven’t posted anything until now. With all the news it seems like a good time to get started! I don’t have much experience of investing, so it has been very interesting reading everyone’s posts, all of which offer great insight in to what we have going for us here.
A lot has been said on the optioning out of Chance E, I’ve never seen the board so busy!! Probably nothing new here, just some thoughts, so here goes:
The acquisition of the claims surrounding Tesoro seems to have been carried out due to the potential of the area, but also to protect the Tesoro strategically. If this is the case, then the optioning out of Chance E may be the next stage of that strategy.
If there prove to be economical deposits in this, or any other claim that may be optioned, then SLI share-holders will benefit from the added value this would bring through an increased price if SLI is sold. If the Tesoro is sold, and SLI remains in our hands, the share-holders would still benefit from this added value and the optioned claims would be a lot farther down the road to being sold themselves.
If the Tesoro is sold and SLI does remain in our hands, could the company then take over IDG, bringing the claims back under one roof alongside the other Peru properties?
Cheers,
Tompy
