It all sounds good in theory but here is my take on it. It could get real complicated with all the different scenarios that could play out with this stock. We are already getting shares in a spin-off company, thats one thing you would have to keep track of, and what happens if the sale of any of the properties involves shares in the purchasing company?? See where I am going with this? It could snowball and get pretty complicated to keep organized in a hurry.

Another big thing, I am not sure how it works down there but here in Canada I am pretty sure that you can only gift someone a certain amount (I have heard $50000) per year, anything more than that would be taxable. So you got to ask the question, how do I get the money to these people if this pays out like we think it might.

It sounds like a great idea but you may be in for a lot of headaches.
