Well I may not have an explanation, but I do have my opinion. Lately, I personally don't see many, if any, shares at all actually trading out of the SLI Long Shareholders. I see shares moving around, a certain volume at the end of the day, and that's about it.
If someone, or a Company, wanted to actually accumulate any amount of shares, I think you would see the SP move upwards exponentially. And, I really think any major Company, just like so many Institutions World Wide, are waiting for the actual results. They have to have results & certain levels of a SP, before they can, or will, start accumulating. In my opinion, when Management announces the trenching & drilling results, you will see this stock take a very significant run to the upside. Once again, that's only my opinion.
However, it is a very good question still. I always relate it to my personal expeiences as well, in the oil & gas business. I work for a major oil company (probably should keep all the names confidential), and just down the road from us, a few years back was a small company basically doing the same thing we were, just on a smaller scale. I watched it at 10 cents, then 20 cents, then a buck, then you know how the story goes...Me, and all my buddies thought about getting in, but never did. Eventually another major, finally took them out over $25 bucks!! Wow, and we knew the story, and the business. Why did the major not want to accumulate at 10 & 20 cents? Not sure, just like now!
But, I do feel very confident, if anyone tries to accumulate St Elias Mines in the next few months, as I already mentioned, I truly think the SP will rise exponentially!
