I would rather not see a major invest in us at this time. And, if we think about it, there is no benefit to us at this time.
We were/are quite capable of doing financing without other companies or Funds getting involved. To me, this means a position of strength and you very seldom see this in the market place. This is why you see so much promo with this stock, to keep the little guys here, to find new little guys, and build up a strong and powerful base for our sp. All the time proving up shareholder value to a point that the sp will be severly undervalued when good results are released. Then, Funds and other companies, if they desire will be forced to take positions at higher prices. Also, these Funds and other companies cannot aquire enough shares to have a controlling interest in SLI, as long as the high percentage of loyal investors is maintained. If we were to lose that high percentage of tight share holders, then these other entities could get a wedge in the sp and try to wiggle enough shares out to get a controlling interest. The important thing here is to hold strong if you can, diminishing the chances of that happening and strengthening the end sp.
I have seen some majors taken up positions in early stage explo companies, so this is not uncommon. And to be honest, I think you will see more of this type of thing because gold is getting harder to mine and majors are starting to secure future reserves by trying to fund some promising juniors, getting their foot in the door much earlier than in the past.
What every SLI investor has to keep in mind is; how powerful an exploration tool the Quantec Titan is. IMO, 1 drill hole down through that anomaly will give you all the picture a major needs to start throwing out some offer prices. The anomaly is so huge, that an average grade of .4 g/t contiuous length, IS economical. Also, that puny grade is giving you more than 25 million ounces, hence Lori,s reference of World Class Deposit.
