Most major financial institutions will not buy speculative stock until all variables are removed. They would rather buy a stock at 10 dollars with drill results and a resource estimate than 2 dollars with no results no matter how much work has been done by exploration companies. We are far better off with private investors for the time being. Institutions are unpredictable and unreliable.
Royalies are the moneys that a mining company (whoever buys Tesoro) pays the (in this case) Peruvian government for the gold they take out of the ground. SLI shouldn't have to worry about royalties. The major that buys Tesoro will calculate the cost of royalties into their purchase offer.
Dividends are the moneys payed to shareholders for shares they hold in a company.
There is portable equipment available today that should allow a geo. or project mananger to know very closely what the gold grade is in the cores as the come out of the ground, which may be contributing to the excitement. However I do agree that the 43 101 assays may not be back yet do to extreme overloading of the labs.
If there are nondisclosure agreements in effect as we speak, that may be reason for the delay in news releases.
Patience is difficult the closer we get, but try not to make to many wild speculations. We will find out when the time comes. Now will be the biggest test of your faith in your D.D.
