Nice diagram. The 500 degree Celsius temperature (over 900 degrees Fahrenheit) in the arc crust would have been hot enought to send plenty of boiling water to the surface laden with dissolved gold to later precipitate out in that massive anomaly of ours. I'm willing to bet that there used to be either some beautiful hot springs or perhaps even a geyser or two at some point on the Tesoro propety at one point many thousands or millions of years ago.
