Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I am of the belief that management has blackouts called on them for every news release. I was of the impression that this is just standard proceedure to preclude any news release. I didn't think it needed to be a monumental news release to have a blackout. I think blackouts are common enough that they typically don't even announce them. I hate to see people get too wound up when this may simply be a news release of an administrative proceedure or so on. I'm not intending to cast a dark cloud, but simply to advise that the blackout does not mean impending great news. For all our sakes I am in favor of great news but for now I'm keeping my toes in the mud!!
