Here's my interpretation of today's NR. Just my opinion!

first paragraph: the drilling program is still in progress. There's been a lot of noise on this Board in the last month about wanting to be updated with what's going on. So in response, today's NR is indeed an update and it says they are still drilling and still compiling data....which means they're still not ready yet to release any assay results (for whatever reasons). Like or not, we've all got lots more waiting to do! Not what we were hoping for. Bummer.

second paragraph: pretty explanatory. SLI has enough cash to continue proving up its properties. Good.

third paragraph: third party report predicts a price of $3 - $3.50 in the next 1-3 months. This could mean we won't see assay results until four weeks from now. Other than that, it's just another analyst report. I have no idea what kind of audience will see this report. I'm assuming it must have some kind of clout in the mining community, otherwise it's just a waste of time and money. Bit of a head-scratcher.

Today's NR was just an appetizer, almost in a mocking way, as if to test our resolve! The "real" news is yet to come.

Here's a re-post of the last time I updated my timeline. I think it's pretty much in-line with reality. I don't think there's going to be any quick sale. The Tesoro needs to be proven up. Sorry folks, I've said it before, we're all going to have to wait many more months. The test of patience continues, and I still believe those who are patient will be rewarded. Again, just my opinion.

drill permit received: beginning of May, 2011 - complete

drills mobilized: by end of June July (my guess based on NR), 2011 - shallow drilling mobilized

drilling: Jul-Aug-Nov (I assumed that shallow drilling did not start prior to Aug 1, and deep holes will start in Oct and be completed by the end of Nov) , 2011

results sent to lab and analyzed: Sept-Oct Oct-Dec, 2011 - shallow hole results will be submitted first, followed later by deep holes

assay results released: Nov, 2011 Jan, 2012 (I assumed all results are released together, rather than as they are available - this may or may not be the case)

bids for Tesoro from interested parties: Dec, 2011 to Jan, 2012 Feb, 2012 to Mar, 2012

evaulation of bids and negotations with interested party: Feb Apr, 2012 - Mar May, 2012

sale of Tesoro: April June, 2012
