BACKGROUND

Mr. James P. W. Darcel has been the Chief Financial Officer of EcoMax Energy Services Ltd., since March 21, 2011 and serves as its Secretary. Mr. Darcel has been the Chief Investment Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Portfolio Manager at NAVigator Capital Management Inc., since March 2004. Mr. Darcel oversees investments and risk management for the fund. He brings with him 18 years of capital markets experience and knowledge. Mr. Darcel’s proficiencies include stock ... index arbitrage, interest rate modeling, currency hedging, portfolio risk management, as well as other quantitative and fundamentally based trading strategies. His most recent experience included employment as a Financial Analyst at Manitoba Public Insurance from May 2002 to October 2002, where he conducted analysis of the corporation's $1.2 billion investment portfolio. Mr. Darcel was a Securities Advisor at Refco Canada (formerly, CFG Futures Canada Inc.) from November 2001 to March 2002. Before then, he was a Securities Consultant and spent several years founding a start-up life sciences company. Mr. Darcel was an Investment Counsel and Portfolio Manager at D.V. McQueen Ltd., where he worked from December 1995 to November 1997, and was an Investment Policy Analyst and Client Asset Mix Specialist at Loring Ward from May 1995 to December 1995. He began his investment career in 1986 at the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) where he was progressively promoted to Index Manager and Senior Administrator of Derivative Markets. Mr. Darcel is a member in good standing with the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR) and the Winnipeg Society of Financial Analysts. He has been a Director of EcoMax Energy Services Ltd., since March 21, 2011. His extensive education began by graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba in 1985. Mr. Darcel earned the designation of FCSI (Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute) in 1987, was granted the right to use the C.F.A. designation in 1994 and received the C.I.M. designation (Canadian Investment Management) in 1995. He spends most of his spare time with his two children Joseph and Alexandre.
