Hi Tom, others.
I am sorry if my post was interpreted wrong and definitely sorry if it caused anyone to sell. Let me explain myself with that post. Below is your post Tom.
"1)
Perhaps the reason the stock price is dropping is with the post Sculpin put on labelled "some general info". Perhaps people are loosing faith that SLI has what we think they have? By Sculpins post it would look like the chances of SLI having the goods for real are very very small. SLI and the Tesoro will be an anomoly if it is to be true. The lack of news, the blackout fiasco, and the growing negativity all weighs in for the stock to go one way and it's not up. Even though I am holding to the bitter end I found reading Sculpins post as putting doubts in my mind.
Most risk capital is lost in the ground. A study by Mackenzie and Bilodeau (1984) found that in the period from 1955 to 1978 a total of $1.6 billion had been spent on exploration (excluding oil and gas) with thousands of mineral occurrences discovered. However only 43 of these discoveries were considered to be economic, with even fewer ultimately being developed. That means an average finding cost of $38 million (1984 dollars) is required per deposit. Adjusted for inflation, this number would be over $100 million
1) The chances for us having a huge economical deposit are great, IMO. I guess I should have read over the article better to see how it could have been misinterpreted. But after all the DD thats been put on the board and all the discussion, I don,t know how anyone would see something bad in that article for SLI.
The number of explo,s that succeed is indeed very small, but there is no doubt in my mind that we are one of the few. Time and time again on this forum I , along with others, have shown everyone why we may have something huge. All the indicators are there, and if someone wants to sell, they obviously don,t understand what we may have and will most likely regret it down the road. I have said, time and time again, that SLI is unique. Meaning that we are looking for buyers and that an offer could come at anytime, unlike most juniors, just keep proving up so that 10 years down the road, they can mine it theirselves. If the recent trenching and drilling suffices, this will be all we need for a major to make an offer. So hold onto your shares because this could happen quick and you don,t want to be out of this if it is halted due to an offer that could come at any minute.
The other thing, the guy says that up to $100 million is spent by some explo,s, that is true, But, we did a full quantec that cuts down the drilling and costs, there is no way we should be compared with the juniors he speaks of.
I also mentioned in my post that we will most likely only go as far as a PEA, if we get that far before it is sold. It was mostly general info, much of it does not apply to us and most should realize that. I am a strong supporter of this stock, and I don,t think that will ever change. So, if someone had doubts and sold their shares because of that post, buy them back as quick as you can before the sp takes off and it costs you more.
IMO
