I have no experience with diamond rilling rigs (such as ones used to drill cores for gold mines, diamond mines etc.) however, i do have some experience with rates on rigs used to drill for oil & gas, a rate of $15,000-$20,000 is an average for a drilling rig, rentals on top of that could be anywhere from 3000-$6000 per day but i doubt it's that high with a mining operation when they are only coring. All that being said, i think you could easily burn through $2,000,000 in 3-4 months. using $20k/day for everything used in the operation (and that is only the drilling end of it, core sample transportation & analysis is very expensive as well, then they are "constantly" entering data into their software so they say. $2mill wont last long so hopefully that will mean quality news sooner than later.
