thoughts on Quantecs geophysist visit

Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
I have been doing some thinking on why Kevin Killam, the Quantec geophysist would be sent to the Tesoro. These are my thoughts.
On pg 53 of the technical report of last year, is the recommended drill plan by Quantec. This drill plan is a complete table, it gives you the coordinates, depth, azimuth and dip to drill. One person could take 5 minutes and go to anywhere on our property and show you exactly where to drill a specified hole from the plan. So why need Kevin?
Well, on pg 58 of the tech report there is a list of 6 recommendations to follow as situations may arise. I am unable to copy that whole page, or even part of it here, so I will just type ver batum point number 6.
6. "Similarily, if mineralization and/or alteration is encountered when drilling the target zones, a priority step back drilling should be considered for testing the areas in the vicinity of the Titan anomalies."
This means that if a drill hole encounters either or both of the above, it is a priority to step back, ( i am guessing, 25-50m) and do another hole. If this situation arose, that something worthy was encountered, Kevin would most likely be needed to calculate where to properly put that step out hole. Even though the proposed shallow drill plan was 5500m, this would cause it to be larger and take longer. If this had to be done multiple times, we could end up with a considerable larger drill program. What we are perceiving as slow, may not be the case, maybe more holes had to be drillied?
Kevin was sent down to Peru by Quantec themselves, I beleive it was said on here, that he had to go to Goldcorp,s Redlake as well, when that geophysics was being tested. So, I guess you could speculate that Quantec may want the advertisement from the Tesoro for their business. If this turns out to be as huge as we think, this would put Quantec in the bright lights.
Another thought, if the trenching uncovered some interesting veins around some other targets, that would require Kevins services as well, if Lori wanted to put a hole in an area that wasn,t on the drill plan. You have to remember that the geophysics does not tell you how much gold is there and it is possible to find considerable gold in some areas that the Quantec does not suggest. We know we have gold associated with sulfides on the property in percentages of around 2-3 %, and we see the associated chargeability from the sulphides on the C-1 area. When you go to the A-4 area, you have to use the IP to see the actual structure that contains the gold vein, because the sulphides there have been oxidized to limonite, and do not give off the same signature as the C-1 area. So, what I am saying is that different tested areas have to be looked at different, depending on the type of mineralization. There could be extremely high grade gold veins on the property that have little other mineralization, these would be hard to detect by chargeabilty and you might have to follow a defined structure by the quantec to understand the geology of that vein. With the Titan looking so erattic and gold found all over the property, these 2 things fit together to tell you that much testing has to be done before moving to a new target, so you know what they mean in relation to the images.
In these situations above, it would be a huge asset to have Kevin on the property to make sure the geophysics is interpreted by someone experienced when figuring the particulars of new drill holes. To sit in an office and tell a geo on the phone where to drill, doesn,t exactly cut it and doesn,t compare with being right on the property to look at the actual structures. I am not saying our geo,s don,t know what they are doing, rather that Kevin may be better qualified for this type of action. There is a large number of geo,s out there today that don,t use geophysics in their field yet to the extent of the Titan. They will look at magnetic highs and such, but something as intricate as the Titan, requires more attention.
