As I was one of the posters who referred to freedom of speech I wanted to respond and clarify my position.

Firstly I agree 100% with you that continual complaining about lack of news does not serve any beneficial purpose. I think many on the board would agree.

My concern with filtering out such posts is that unless it in fact violates an agoracom rule, it opens up a can of worms for other unpopular opinions to be removed...then there will be a debate over what gets filtered and who decides.

I, like you and many others am disappointed when repetitive uninformative posts appear...but in my opinion the alternative precedent being set is much worse.

that all being said...the point may be moot as it seems Lori's explanation for lack of news at the AGM has appeased many.
