Why 100 share trades at a time????

Watching the volume today and noticing stuff that doesnt make sense. Approximately 70 trades done individually at 100 shares at a time, but there not partial fills there complete trades. Morgan stanley being the main financial house doing it, im sure there's a price per trade to do it which would add up to a ton of money.

Why would they being doing this?

Any ideas?
