Message: Arequipa

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but didn,t Arequipa only have trenching results released when the first offer came in? Then they frantically started drilling?

Maybe this is why Lori hasn,t released any trenching result, she is scared of a premature offer? I see a move has been made on CRK today, the sharks are feeding.

Arequipa did have pits and adits, but so do we, we have informale pits on the property as deep as 30 m. This taken from the 2005 tech report;

6.3: MINERALIZED ZONES

Tesoro is riddled with pits excavated by informal miners to expose quartz veins

and, in some cases, to extract gold-rich vein material for processing at nearby

plants. These pits range from shallow holes less than a meter deep to substantial

shafts (known as piques, pronounced pee-kays) up to 30 meters deep (i.e.

Canchete 1 Vein). Figure 2 shows the location of excavations found on the

property, including the Canchete 1 pique. These accurately reflect the locations of

gold-bearing veins identified on the property during systematic exploration by the

Company in 2004.
