Hey Iced and others who are disappointed,

Like others who have provided enourmous amounts of insight, information, and expertise, there is no questioning the efforts and commitment Hog has shown this board and like many others I thank him sincerely.

Rest assured that his opinions on critical matters will be well voiced if not personally, they certainly will resonate through his friends who are still very active posters. I do not know Hog or have I ever communicated directly with him...but logic dictates that anyone heavily invested in SLI will want to be heard in order to protect thier investment. I would put my hand in fire that Hog would not jeopardize his significant investment over an internet chat fight.

As a side note, this may also be excellent timing for many who have possibly relied too heavily on others to form thier own opinions as we will all be facing many serious decisions moving forward. Hogs departure may provide the necessary impetus for everyone to re-evaluate thier own knowledge base and fill in the holes on thier own. I for one have recently evaluated my knowledge base on everything related to SLI and have found that I am severely lacking in a couple critical areas...I am now focused squarely on my education.

I never want to find myself reliant on others when it comes to making decisions that may in fact amount to hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars and ultimately my future.
